Interested in becoming an official Jump the Moon Artist in Training?

It is necessary for you to join our mentor program. This program is for artists who live with any sort of disability, even those that are very severe. It provides one year of regular mentorship and coaching from several different professional artists.

Each artist will be required:

• to set short and long term goals that will help move toward a successful future in selling their art.
• to be accountable for active participation in achieving their goals.
• be required to display their artwork in regular art events and a year-end show.

The Jump the Moon Studio provides:

• studio space
• specialized custom art-making tools if needed
• all necessary art supplies including framing cost for the year-end show.
• training and encouragement by qualified teachers

Cost for the program is $120 per month. $20 of this is the artist’s responsibility and can be taken care of by volunteering service in the studio. $100 per month will be provided by a sponsor.

Who can sponsor? The Sponsor can be a business, club, organization, family, individual or group of individuals. It is our hope to make a strong community connection thru our relationship with our sponsors. One of the perks of being a sponsor comes when the artist has their year-end art show. The sponsor gets to view the show first and select at no cost to themselves a favorite piece to display in their home or office. It is expected that each mentored artist will assist us in finding an appropriate sponsor.
